The whole coastal area of Imsouane is not affacted by the consequences of the earth quake at all. We are in regular contact with our partners on location. Thanks god everyone is fine. More than ever it is so important to support the local tourism to help the people and their families!

You can literally roll out of bed into the waves. Just come down, get your board and jump into the water. Then join your sisters for a fresh orange juice and a snack before you go to catch some more waves!!

  • Agama by Olo has 6 rooms with private bathrooms. 3 of them overlooking the bay and 3 of them with sea view to Cathedral (the reef advance surf break) and the town.

    A private roof terrace only for us and our daily Yoga with Julia, and maybe some stargazing.

    A magic crazy fancy quiver for you to try different boards, a coffee shop with epic banana bread and the best smoothies… and the best vibes in town. Everyone comes to Olo’s restaurant to grab a drink and chill after the surf!

  • We believe that the only way to really improve your surf, is to adapt the teaching method to your personal needs and level – not the other way around.

    We all have a different approach in learning new skills. This is what we want to tackle with our unique Surf Mentoring.

    We combine different methods like surf lessons/free-surf guiding, mental coaching, video analysis, emotional surf coaching, surf skating, surf-oriented yoga, theory and emotional workshops to squeeze the best out of your surf experience.

  • We believe that a proper surf coaching doesn’t start or end with the time you spend on location during your vacation.

    That is why we will be by your side before, during and after Morocco.

    After you saved your spot, our surf coach Cami will schedule a 30min call with you to get to know eachother, evaluate your surf level and give you the first exercises to practice at home in preparation for your trip.

  • This is not an average surf camp. It’s like taking private lessons in a group of like-minded sisters, that you can share your experience and exchange knowledge with.

    Usually we have to decide if we pay a lot of money for private coaching or go for group lessons, where our individual needs get lost most of the times.

    We don’t want to make compromises anymore.

  • Our surf coaches are specialized on emotinal surf coaching.

    A unique method that tackles both, the technical and psycho-emotional aspects of surfing.

    We will create space in an emotional workshop for us to talk about our fears and traumas and teach you tools, how to deal with them better or even overcome them.

  • Surfskate and yoga are the best add-on’s to optimize your performance in the water – apart from being very fun themselves!

    You’ll be coached in small groups according to your level, to help you optimize your flow on-land and in the water.

    Besides of your classes, our yoga terrace will be available for you 24/7.

  • On our rest day we will discover the Souk (traditional market) of Essaouira. Here we will have time to do a little shopping from the local artisans and artists. At sunset we will gather around a big table to enjoy typical Moroccan Cuisine, music and PARTY!

Surf Mentoring: OVERVIEW

We want to give you a rough overview of what to expect from your surf journey with us. But this journey doesn’t start or end with this trip. We will support you before, during and after this experience.

Our coaches will constantly adapt to your needs, to develop your perfect surf mentoring program together with you.

  • Pre-Interview

    Let’s get to know each other. Your coaching starts way before you arrive in Morocco. Once you have succesfully saved your spot, Cami, your surf head coach will schedule a 30 min call to get to know you and your surf history.

  • Get ready for Imsouane

    In preperation for your surf mentoring, Cami will give you a couple of individual exercises that you can start practising at home. Like this you will be perfectly prepared for Morocco.

  • Say hello to your sisters

    The first day is to arrive, acclimate, chill and surf if you want. In the evening we will all get together and create space to get to know eachother and go through your individual surf program.

  • Start your surf mentoring

    The next 3 days will be packed with surf, surf, surf. Depending on your level and individual program your coaches will combine the right moduls for you. A lot of surf in combination with surfskate, yoga, theory and mental coaching.

  • Rest Day

    After your first 3 days of intensive surf coaching you deserve a break sister. This day is for us to discover the colorful and vibrant markets of Essaouira, have some yummy dinner out or go wild on a rooftop party – up to you ;-)

  • Surf mentoring next round

    Time to deep dive and combine the technical with the psycho-emotional aspects. Recab on what you have learned so far and where to focus on. Let’s squeeze the most out of your coaching!

  • Emotional surf workshop

    We care about how you feel in- and outside the water. Many of us are scared of the water, the waves, the people, getting hurt – this is a normal part of surfing. You are not alone. Let’s do this together.

  • Follow up

    Your surf mentoring doesn’t end with your stay in Morocco. Our coaches will provide you a roadmap with specific exercises for you to continue at home. Also we will schedule a follow up call to see how your journey is going. Stay salty sister!

The SURF

The Magic Bay – what a perfect name to describe the endless waves you will find there. Known to be the dream paradise destination for Longboarding, Imsouane has 2 main surf- spots: The Bay and Catedral.

Catedral is a bit more advanced and fast wave and the Bay is the longest wave in Africa. When the sections connect, you will find yourself riding more than 800m. This feeling is unforgettable.

I never thought I’d say going on a surf trip would be a life changing experience, but the camp with Ocean Sisters proved me wrong. Of course the surfing and skating was awesome, so was the hotel and food. But really, the emotional focus, the community, the women - that is what made it so special. It was a week of raw emotions, of laughter, of sisterhood and I’m so so grateful. Thank you Julia, Cami and Estelle (and the girls)
