We believe that surfing and surfskating are the perfect match to lift your skills to the next level, in- and outside the water. No matter if you want to improve your surfing quicker, pick-up a new badass hobby or accelerate your skating progress – we got you covered sister.

This trip is all about finding your flow on the surfskate with the perspective to improve your surfing. In a small group of sisters, we will explore various surfaces like concrete waves, different skate bowls, pumptracks and endless flat coastlines to ride into the sunset.
Included:
5 coached surfskate sessions (2h/day)
24/7 support by your coaches, as they are sharing a house with you
theory lesson
“unscrew your surfskate” workshop
all material included and 24/7 access (also on arrival & departure day)
shuttle to all locations

In between our skate sessions, we will spend most of the time at the beach surfing.
No worries if you're a beginner, we'll go through the basic fundamentals and ensure that you can practice in a safe space with your sisters.

Hi, my name is Julia and I am the founder of the Ocean Sisters.
This trip is very personal for me, as I'll be welcoming you girls to my spanish country house in Asturias, in the North of Spain. This is my home, my holy oasis of peace surrounded by the ocean and mountains – bienvenida hermana!
ABOUT THE HOUSE & THE AREA
Asturias is different. It's one of the few places in Europe that hasn't been completely overrun by surf tourism yet. Empty line-ups, perfect smooth waves for all levels and the most stunning nature that you can imagine. This is why we made this our new home of choice. I am beyond excited to share this magical place with you girls and enjoy the Spanish tapas lifestyle – ayayay!

2 double bedrooms with single beds (no extra)

Yummy food, happy hearts. Nothing beats fresh, homemade food after a fun surf & skate session with your sisters! Lucky us that we will have the honor to enjoy this every day by our dear private chef Manu.
His food is inspired by local Spanish dishes and a touch of French cuisine. Just by using local and seasonal products, he ensures the highest quality possible. Whatever food preference you might have, he will personally take care of it. His kitchen is fresh, creative and full of flavours – et voilà!

Yes, you can!
For our sisters that are just starting to surf we will integrate some basic coaching, so you can take your first steps and practice in a safe space with your sisters.

No skills required sister!
ALL LEVELS WELCOME
According to your individual teaching method, we will adapt to your personal needs. No matter if you are an experienced skater girl or a total beginner, together we will squeeze the most out of your skate experience.

Asturias is still one of the hidden surf gems of the north coast. It has one of Spain's best rivermouth breaks, "Rodiles."
There are also countless other beautiful bays dotted with good breaks that are ideal for beginners and intermediates.
From small mellow waves to fast and tube riding breaks. Their sandy bottom beaches are ideal to learn and progress without the fear of “what's underneath?” Let us tell you – SAND!

Yes, please! Even though we also have a quiver for you with various surfboards to try out (extra on demand). But we always recommend surfing on your own board.

The water temperature goes from 13°C to 20°C. It's chilly, let's say. Anyways, this basically depends on the ocean currents that can change without asking permission, bringing colder or warmer waters to the coast line. But as a rule, with a 4/3 wetsuit you should be alright.

Oceanic weather is known for its changing nature. You can have 4 seasons in one day, so come prepared. During summer/autumn months you can have temperatures that go from 15°C to 25°C.

As we said, Spain with its Ocean climate, can be pretty unpredictable. So we are making a small list of things you don't want to forget.
Beach essentials:
Flip flops, bikinis, beach towel, suncream +50 and a reusable water bottle.
Skate essentials:
Comfortable shoes for skating, comfortable pants and your best attitude! ;)
Yoga essentials:
Comfortable pants and sports clothes.
Be prepared:
We won't get tired of repeating the same. The weather is changing a lot. You can be in shorts and t-shirt in the morning and out of the sudden you will need to put a wind jacket on...
So: A wind jacket, shorts, t-shirts, some jeans and whatever you feel like wearing. We are not going fancy, it is gonna be a very casual week with your sisters. Still, if you fancy to go out one day, come prepare to dance!
